Advanced documentation know-how that has been developed for major engineering projects such as ship building, power stations and coal mines is now being used in PAAL’s instruction manuals.
The manuals employ sophisticated yet user-friendly document methodology developed by Australian-based international engineering group Transfield.
“Years of effort and thousands of dollars have gone into developing a way to print customer specific manuals that make assembling your own home as clear and straightforward as possible.
Transfield Documentation worked for three months to lay the foundation for subsequent development of the manuals by Paal’s own technical staff at Emu Plains.
A kit home is only as good as its instructions,as anyone who has assembled their own home will verify.
“Our manuals are now the most advanced and accessible of any available in the Australian housing market. No other kit home company has taken its manual development so seriously.”
The technology enables each Paal home purchaser to receive an individualised manual that caters for the unique specifications of that person’s kit home.
This is no simple task when many variations on standard home models are considered. These variations include different ceiling heights, hip or gabled roofs, brick or Hardiplank claddings, straight or split verandahs, and floor construction of concrete, steel or timber.
Each manual includes all necessary information, only the instructions and illustrations that are relevant to a buyer’s chosen home are included and nothing superfluous.
