John and Michelle saved an estimated $40,000 by building themselves. They visited Paal, were impressed by the company's brochure and show homes, and chose the Riverina 4 - a large house of 33 squares under roof.

"The manual was really useful. Everything bolted or screwed together. We didn't have to cut or rejoin anything. Even if we had a problem, Paal helped us over the phone and solved the problem. They were really fantastic", he said.
Doing all the work themselves, except for plumbing, electrical wiring and gyprocking, saved an estimated $35,000 - $40,000. "We're completely over the moon with the house - its quality, the support we had from Paal, the whole process," John said. "We also feel a real sense of accomplishment and pride. "Honestly, we'd do it all again. And we have no problem referring other people to Paal because of the quality of the product and support you get. "The finished house is absolutely brilliant - and my wife agrees," John said.
